ORANGE COUNTY STREET CAR SYSTEM
Type of System: Street Car
Scope of work: The project is a new street car system for Orange County. The project entails the design of software and hardware for interlockings and crossings as well as signal enclosure assembly through factory acceptance testing and commissioning for all locations on the property. The technology utilized is wayside to train systems for interlocking routing and train detection at crossings. The interlockings are microprocessor based with power frequency track circuits.
SACRAMENTO REGIONAL RAIL SYSTEM
Type of System: Street Car
Scope of work: The work entails the design changes of application software for various location utilizing microprocessor based systems. The project entailed the modification of the iVPI application logic for functionality changes to the systems operations.
VTA RAIL REHAB PHASE 7 SYSTEM
Type of System: Light Rail System
Scope of work: The project entailed the design of circuits plans, microprocessor software, prewired signal enclosures for Younger, Hostetter and Cropley interlockings as well as field commissioning. The system included automatic routing through TWC System and power frequency track circuits.
DL & W
Type of System: Street Car System
Scope of work: The project included the complete turnkey system. The system entailed the design of circuit plans as well as software utilizing the (iVPI) for the DL&W yard that entails (13) switch controls. DAI provided prewired signal houses, factory testing software and field testing and commissioning on the project. Scheduled completion 2021.
Orange County Street Car System

Scope of work: The project included the complete turnkey system. The system entailed the design of the wayside and grade crossing system to include (3) interlockings and (6) grade crossings. DAI provided prewired signal houses, wayside signals, grade crossing warning devices, factory testing software and field testing and commissioning on the projects. Scheduled completion early 2021.

Scope of work: The project entailed the design of circuits plans, microprocessor software, prewired signal enclosures as well as software development for interrogator systems. The system included automatic routing through TWC System and power frequency track circuits.
MUNI UCSF System Upgrade
Type of System: Light Rail Traction Power
Scope of work: The project entailed the design of a single and double crossover at the new UCSF Station. The system included the utilization of a TWC System for automatic train routing as well as dispatch controlled, Alstom’s iVPI processor, power frequency track circuits as well as a secondary axle counter system utilizing Thales equipment. DAI performed the signal design, signal enclosures and full commissioning of the system into revenue service.
Detroit Street Car System M1 Rail
Type of System: Street Car System
Scope of work: The project included the signal system design of circuit plans and software as well as the manufacturing of prewired signal houses. The system entailed train to wayside systems, AC track circuits and microprocessor based signaling. DAI was responsible for the design of the entire city of Detroit’s new train control system. Project was also tested and commissioned by Diverging Approach, Inc.
Milwaukee Street Car System

Scope of work: The project included the signal system design of circuit plans and software as well as the manufacturing of prewired signal houses. The project also included the design of proximity sensor applications for bridge movement detection that was incorporate into the train control system. System entailed a TWC system, track circuits and a microprocessor based train control system.
Oklahoma Street Car System
Type of System: Street Car System
Scope of work: The project included the signal system design of circuit plans and software as well as the manufacturing of prewired signal houses. The system entailed train to wayside systems, AC track circuits and microprocessor based signaling. Project was also tested and commissioned by Diverging Approach, Inc.
Gilbert Extension-Valley Metro
Type of System: Light Rail Traction Power
Scope of work: The project entailed the extension of the Valley Metro’s line to Gilbert Station. DAI performed the signal design, software and manufacturing of a 12’x26’ signal house for a double crossover as well as road crossing cases. The project system included a TWC system, AC track circuits, microprocessor and crossing activation circuits as well as tie-in into adjacent locations.
Sugarhouse Double Track-UTA
Type of System: Light Rail Traction Power
Scope of work: The project entailed the construction of extending double track through the Sugarhouse control point. The project also entailed an additional end of siding that utilized track circuits, overlays and microprocessors. DAI was responsible for the design modifications to the existing Sugarhouse, new end of siding as well as the prewired signal house and associated software modifications.
Block 500 and Block 600

Scope of work: The project included the complete turnkey system. The system entailed the design of the wayside and grade crossing system down Main Street. DAI provided prewired signal houses, factory testing software and field testing and commissioning on both projects.

Scope of work: The project included the complete turnkey system. The system entailed the design of the wayside and grade crossing system. DAI provided prewired signal houses, factory testing software and field testing and commissioning on the project.
Tasman Project

Scope of work: The project included the complete turnkey system. The system entailed the design of the wayside and grade crossing system. DAI provided prewired signal houses, factory testing and software. Project entailed several wayside signal houses.
Metra Green Line Project
Type of System: Light Rail Traction Power
Scope of work: The project included a new line between Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN. The project was approximately (16) total locations, control point, ped crossings and double crossovers. DAI performed the vast majority of the testing and commissioning of the project. DAI utilized as low as (4) Engineers and as high as (7) Engineers. The testing started in September of 2013 and completed in June of 2014. The project utilized Siemens Sicas 7 microprocessor for wayside controls as well as wheel detectors for track circuit detection.
Muni Green Yard
Type of System: Light Rail Traction Power
Scope of work: The scope of work has included the design through commissioning of the signal system. The system was based off the utilization of TWC controls. DAI provided all software, hardware through installation and commissioning.
