Type of System: Freight Heavy Rail

Scope of work: The scope of work has included ongoing continuous contracts in the design and supply of signal materials for several Class I Railways. DAI has designed over 1,000 signal locations for the Class I market over the last (5) years. DAI’s Class I work as included both railways in the US and Canada.

Milk River Wayside System and PTC System Upgrade

Type of System: Freight Heavy Rail

Scope of work: DAI completed the design and material lists for (56) locations. The work included double cross-over locations with ICS, complete with ladder logic design and testing. Additional scope included upgrade of intermediate, electric lock, end of siding and control point locations. The design included the utilization of Micro-Lok, Vital Harmon Logic Controllers and Electrocode as well grade crossing upgrades with prediction equipment.

Anita to Rowley Electro-Code Upgrade

Type of System: Freight Heavy Rail

Scope of work: DAI completed the design and material lists for the Anita to Rowley Project. The project included new and upgrade locations from EC2 to EC4 as well as pole-line interface work.

Haymarket to Hall Tower Project

Type of System: Freight Heavy Rail

Scope of work: The work included the ladder logic design of a extremely complex interlocking that included fiber optic, coded and serial communication interfaces. The project included several phases of work with (26) vital and non-vital programs.

Brush Subdivision

Type of System: Freight Heavy Rail

Scope of work: DAI recently completed the design, programming and material requirements for Segment 1 & 2. The work included the design of (54) locations. The design process included power calculations, safe braking, ASR timers, aspect charts, crossings and crossing disable procedures, material requirements, plan/circuitry design, microprocessor ladder logic equations and testing of equations.

Beardstown Subdivision

Type of System: Freight Heavy Rail

Scope of work: DAI recently completed the design, programming and material requirements for Segment 3,4 & 5. The work included the design of (58) locations.  The design process included power calculations, safe braking, ASR timers, aspect charts, crossings and crossing disable procedures, material requirements, plan/circuitry design for intermediate, control points and diamonds in connection with adjoining railways as well as switch position monitor locations in dark territory.

KO Subdivision

Type of System: Freight Heavy Rail

Scope of work: DAI completely a very intense and complex arrangement of aspect charts and configurations for the KO Subdivision. The work included route charts and aspect charts, totaling in excessive of (270) designed plan sheets.

Deer Creek, Sabula Jct, Lake and Island Control Points

Type of System: Freight Heavy Rail

Scope of work: DAI completed the modification of codes arrangements, controls and indications. The work entailed software modifications of vital and non-vital circuits and testing through reduced validations and completely functional rack tests.

Horn Control Point

Type of System: Freight Heavy Rail

Scope of work: DAI completed the modification of codes arrangements, controls and indications. The work entailed software modifications of vital and non-vital circuits and testing through reduced validations and completely functional rack tests.

Black Bear, Flynn, Westminster and Jackson Control Points

East Donkey Creek and East Campbell

Type of System: Freight Heavy Rail

Scope of work: DAI completed a complex design of wayside ladder logic and testing on the East Donkey Creek interlocking. The work included several split box and main/auxiliary configurations with an ICS configurations.
